Natural Antibiotic, Strengthening the Immune System

Propolis

A very strong natural antibiotics made by the honeybee from the plant resin, floral nectar, beeswax and pollen, in a proportion of 50% plant resin, 30% beeswax, 10%  nectar and 10% pollen.

The honeybee uses propolis as an antiseptic and crack-filler for the walls of the hives and puts it at the entrance to the hive to disinfect its legs while entering or leaving.

The ancient Romans and Greeks applied the propolis to the wounds for healing and for treatment of infections and fever.

During World War II, the Russians used it to prevent wounds from becoming infectious.

Propolis is antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and anti-inflammatory. It has antibiotic and antioxidant properties, has no side-effects and because it can kill bacteria resistant to chemical antibiotics, it can replace such antibiotics.

It is a rich source of vitamins, minerals, organic acids, and riboflavonoids which activate vitamin C and prevent oxidation of LDL. The level of riboflavonoids in propolis is 500 times that of orange. It contains all known vitamins except vitamin K and 14 minerals except sulfur.

Use and Applications of Propolis

To treat ailments like allergy, blood clots, burns, bruises, cuts, cancer, exhaustion, respirational problems, acne, skin disorders, cough, infection, cold, flu, high blood pressure, shingles, wounds and liver problems.
